Webfleet announces EV Lounge series of events
The EV Lounge series of events, designed to help UK business fleets achieve the net zero ambitions, have been announced by Webfleet, Bridgestone’s fleet management solution.
The EV Lounge series, hosted by Webfleet partners in conjunction with e-fleet solutions provider, VEV, aims to foster knowledge sharing and cooperation with industry experts.
The events will kick off with two key partners – In Car Technology at Old Thorns Hotel, Liphook, Hampshire, on 18th July 2024 from 10am to 2pm and Auto Electrical Services (AES Fleet) at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes on 12th September 2024.
Both events will reportedly offer platforms for fleet managers to gain in-depth insights into the commercial electric vehicle (EV) market, future trends and strategies for decarbonising their operations.
It’s said that attendees will benefit from sessions led by top-tier speakers and industry specialists, including Webfleet EV Consultant Richard Parker, with discussion forums allowing for deep dives into specific customer requirements.
The relaxed setting of the events is designed to encourage networking, while practical demonstrations will showcase successful EV customer experiences, according to the event organisers.
Webfleet is working with VEV to support clients as part of a broader decarbonisation initiative. As fleets try to understand what decarbonisation means to their businesses, VEV claims it can help guide them through the process.
Beverley Wise, Webfleet Regional Director for Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, said: “The EV Lounge series is an important initiative to support partners and customers in making the electric transition.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with In Car Technology and AES Fleet to deliver these insightful and impactful events.”
The EV Lounge series will continue with more events planned throughout the year.
