Laser Tools introduces insulating matting

Technicians working on EV and hybrid vehicles can work in safety using the insulating matting from Laser Tools, a flame-retardant floor mat that ensures safety for working voltages up to 1000V (tested to 5000V), in accordance with the IEC61111 standard.

Acid and alkali resistant, the mat provides Class 0-rated insulation in a full 1m² size and is 1.5cm thick, with a fine ribbed non-slip underside for grip and a fabric-textured upper side. It can be stored or carried in its own 1.1 metre-long reinforced nylon bag. The matting is also available in a 10-metre-long roll.
