Power-Tec presents its electric dual-action sander

This new electric dual-action sander from Power-Tec (part number 92696) is designed to accommodate 150mm (6in) hook-and-loop sanding discs, specifically those with dust extraction holes.

It also has durable composite housing with a soft rubber grip, which minimises vibration during operation, ensuring enhanced operator-safety, comfort and control.

Additionally, it includes a rear-facing exhaust port, designed to integrate with dust extraction systems. The sander is supplied with a 4-metre power cable, fitted with a 240V 13-amp BS plug, backing pad, wrench, and central vacuum adaptor. CE & RoHS compliant for safety and environmental standards.

At the heart of this tool is a powerful 350W brushless motor, offering a nine-stage variable speed control ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 RPM.

Advanced features include a soft-start function that prevents accidental gouging of the work surface during startup, together with a downforce overload indicator that alerts users to excessive pressure, helping to protect the motor and improve sanding consistency. The temperature monitor automatically shuts down the unit if overheating is detected, safeguarding the motor and extending its lifespan.
