AssetGo helps with DVSA compliance

ACs Taxis has transitioned to a fully digital fleet management system from AssetGo to enhance compliance control and streamline operations.
Based in Musselburgh, ACs Taxis runs a fleet of over 100 taxis and 30 coaches, serving both private and corporate clients across Scotland.
By consolidating multiple legacy systems into one integrated platform, ACs Taxis says it has gained a real-time overview of its entire fleet. The move has reportedly improved operational oversight, strengthened DVSA compliance, and simplified communication between drivers, workshop teams, and management.
Before switching to AssetGo, the company used a range of separate tools to manage compliance, maintenance, and reporting. Now, all functions are centralised within one customisable digital platform, covering maintenance scheduling, PMI tracking, fuel reporting, and accident logging.
Robert Campbell, Business Partner and Transport Manager at ACs Taxis, said: “AssetGo stood out from the start. We trialled several platforms but none offered the same level of integration and usability. It became the workshop favourite almost immediately.
“We now have a complete overview of our entire fleet on one platform. Compliance has improved significantly, and communication between drivers, management, and our workshop has never been better.”
According to Robert, the system ensures PMI schedules remain aligned with evolving DVSA standards, while its user-friendly interface allows teams to capture key data, supporting insurance claims, internal reporting, and KPI analysis.
He added: “The system was also relatively quick and straightforward to integrate. From the beginning, the AssetGo team provided close support with setup, advice, and product training, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free.”
A spokesperson for AssetGo, said: “We’re proud to support ACs Taxis in raising the bar for fleet compliance and operational transparency. Our mission is to help transport operators simplify complex processes while staying ahead of regulatory requirements.”
