Eminox has unveiled a range of replacement diesel particulate filters (DPFs), which were said to have been well received by fleet owners and workshop managers alike, earlier on in the year at the Automechanika Birmingham show.
The company has designed and manufactured the range of replacement DPFs at its global headquarters in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
It will release the first two of its aftermarket range of Euro VI DPFs for commercial vehicles during Q3 after extensive type approval testing has been completed, with a further six due for release during 2019.
The range covers more than 65% of Euro VI heavy goods vehicles on European roads, and offers substantial savings when compared to alternatives sold by OEM dealerships, says the company.
In addition, downtime for vehicles in need of a replacement DPF will likely be reduced, with the Eminox Aftermarket distribution network spanning across the UK and Europe.
The DPF is supplied through an exchange service, with a guaranteed surcharge refund when the old unit is received. All clamps and gaskets required to fit the filter are included, as well as a two year/200,000km warranty for peace of mind.
Neil Koston, Aftermarket Product Manager, commented: “The DPF solution offered by Eminox Aftermarket can’t be ignored. These filters have been designed and manufactured in the same factory as our OEM and retrofit products, with the same quality-certified methods Eminox has built its reputation on during the 40 years it has been in business.
The DPFs come with fittings, as well as a solid warranty from Eminox and, as they are type-approved, comply with the European Block Exemption Regulation. This means that by fitting an Eminox Aftermarket DPF, any outstanding warranty on the vehicle will not be compromised.”
