Byd reveals its ETM6 eTruck
The ETM6 eTruck from Byd is claimed to be a highly integrated eTruck platform, and designed specifically for the European market, the pure-electric ETM6 is said to a suitable partner for zero-emission inner-city distribution, as well as many other applications.
Byd claims to be the only ‘New Energy Vehicle’ producer to have developed its own powertrain systems, power batteries, automotive semiconductors, motors and motor controller systems.
The ETM6 has a range of up to 200km with a full load, with the asserted convenience of DC (120 kW) charging (20% to 100%) in just one hour.
The exterior adopts Byd’s eTrucks design, incorporating a subtly rounded front face and a diving waistline with dynamic lines giving the ETM6 a modern and streamlined appearance. The doors continue the dynamic theme for optimum effect, with concealed handles for reduced air-resistance. The dimensions of the wheelbase make the ETM6 more manoeuvrable, making it a good option for urban driving. The chassis is also highly configurable for different applications.
The interior cabin mirrors the feel of the exterior, creating a modern space for up to three people. With ergonomically designed seats, it offers superior levels of comfort and a high calibre finish with ample storage compartments.
