Emissions reduction specialists Eminox Limited has officially opened a new Retrofit Service and Support Centre, with dedicated Aftermarket Distribution Hub, in Stoke-on-Trent to support the rapid growth of the company.
The site will help to meet the increasing demand for Eminox retrofit systems and fitments, specialising in SCRT upgrades to Euro VI as well as CRT systems. In addition, the new Aftermarket distribution facility will service a growing number of distributors for the company’s replacement Euro VI DPFs, providing a next day service and helping to keep vehicles on the road.
With London’s Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) expanding to include much of Greater London in October 2020 and many other UK cities to introduce Clean Air Zones (CAZ), heavy-duty vehicles which do not meet Euro VI emissions standards could be charged up to £100 per day to enter.
Eminox provides cost-effective Euro VI retrofit technology for older heavy-duty vehicles, which reduces harmful diesel emissions by up to 99%.
The new Retrofit Service and Support Centre will include three fitting bays and three weld bays, allowing more vehicles to be upgraded. This investment will ensure Eminox is able to continue its rapid growth over the coming years and help businesses prepare for CAZ and low emissions areas around the country as well as the expansion of the London ULEZ.
Carlos Vicente, Retrofit Sales Director for Eminox said: “This expansion of our service capabilities puts us in a fantastic position to meet the growing demand for our SCRT technology.
“Many customers are already planning to opt for a cost effective SCRT solution to upgrade to Euro VI to comply with the demands of a new wave of emission control zones. As well as working to expand our core range of solutions for buses, coaches and specialist HGVs, SCRT systems are very complex so we identified a need for more speciality fitting capacity. This dedicated support centre is focused on providing the best possible service and working in partnership with our customers to keep vehicles reducing emissions long into the future.”
The new Aftermarket Distribution Hub reflects the success of the company’s OE replacement DPFs range, since its launch in 2018. Stoke provides a central location with easy access to road networks to ensure fast delivery to our UK and European distributors. Our fully certified range of Euro VI diesel particulate filters (DPF), are manufactured to the same quality and standards of original equipment manufacturers (OEM), are now in stock.
Neil Koston, Aftermarket Manager for Eminox, said: “Our customers already benefit from having a high quality, replacement product that is guaranteed to fit and function the same as the OEM DPF, but at a lower price. This new distribution hub allows us to provide rapid response to our distributors and make our DPFs available for next-day delivery to keep vehicles on the move. The DPFs are a direct-fit aftermarket replacement and have passed strict European type approval testing.”
