Genie Insights reveals solar panel for electric vans

Genie Insights, in conjunction with MiPV, has developed a solar panel specifically designed to help maintain electric vans’ 12-volt auxiliary batteries.

Electric vans rely on 12-volt auxiliary batteries for functions such as vehicle locking, operating lights, controlling the infotainment system, and running safety features. Beyond that, running ancillary services such as telematics or camera systems can discharge the battery during extended periods of inactivity.

Genie Insights now offers a discreet and slimline solar panel strategically installed on the roof of the van with electricity generated directed to the 12- volt battery, ensuring it remains charged.
