The new Grammer MSG 90.7 expands the company’s range with a modern series seat solution for medium and heavy-duty trucks as well as buses.
The driver’s seat incorporates new features that minimise driver fatigue and heighten concentration on medium and long hauls in freight transport as well as in bus transport. These include a backrest that is split in the shoulder area and can be adjusted to adapt shoulder and neck support as well as the headrest height to meet a driver’s specific needs. Belt wearing comfort has been enhanced with a new multi-stage belt height adjustment system.
Improved seat occupancy detection and optimised haptic warning systems in the seat cushion for early detection of hazardous situations ensure greater safety, while a modified damping unit increases service life. The rear side of the backrest heightens flexibility in the use of the cabin space by offering a stable cover that is resistant to scratches and complies with the latest fire protection standards. The bus and long-distance coach version features a flip-up microphone unit and has the control panel positioned on the right-hand side of the seat.
