HMG Paints discusses its partnership with Symphony Coatings and how it helps the company offer the best service for commercial vehicle fleets.
The partnership between HMG Paints, the UK’s largest independent paint manufacturer, and Symphony Coatings, will see HMG’s industrial coatings and colour matching facilities available from three additional Symphony Coating branches.
The two companies have worked closely to ensure Symphony Coatings can offer the right solution for any requirement customers may have. As part of this process, the Symphony Coatings technical team have completed comprehensive HMG product training in order to assist with customer enquiries.
HMG Paints is a family-owned business situated in Manchester, with a broad portfolio of products including wet paint, powder coating, and aerosols, covering virtually every type of surface imaginable. These products will now be available via Symphony Coatings Colchester, Symphony Coatings Thetford, and Symphony Coatings Birmingham.
A brighter future
Danny Cleary, HMG Sales Director, says the extended partnership can only bring benefits. He explains: “The addition of three new tinting machines to the Symphony Branches will provide immediate value to their customers who can get colours matched in a variety of HMG products.
“We’re proud to be working closely with Symphony and the training completed with the technical team is a great example of how we’re working closely together.”
Symphony Coatings is a market leader in colour matching, meaning it can manufacture all HMG products in any colour. Symphony has equipped three of its colour-matching with new tinting machines, and will hold large stocks of the majority of HMG products, available for next day delivery.
The new tinting machines will allow Symphony Coatings customers to benefit from access to 40,000 colour formations available via the Unit Lite mixing scheme and ColourBase formulation software, including BS, RAL, and commercial vehicle shades.
Unit Lite is a highly flexible tinting system, covering topcoats, basecoats, undercoats, and primers, as well as a variety of sheen levels, textures, and finishes. The scheme is also used across a host of industries including industrial, commercial vehicle, agriculture, and construction equipment, and many more.
