Knorr-Bremse outlines its filters range

Knorr-Bremse outlines its filters offering and how it strives to use the best quality materials to deliver optimal filtering results.

With more than 20 years’ field experience in air drying and filtration and more than 30 million air dryer cartridges produced, Knorr-Bremse is one of the top names when it comes to providing commercial vehicles throughout the world with premium quality air dryer cartridges.

Drawing on its wealth of experience and extensive expertise in developing products for air treatment and drivetrain, Knorr- Bremse expanded its filter program into a comprehensive premium product range.

Since 2019, Knorr-Bremse delivered thousands of filters proving the high quality of every product. The current portfolio of air, cabin, fuel, and oil filters will be now extended not only with new applications but also new types: AdBlue and cooling liquid filters.

An attractive price-performance ratio reduces vehicle operating costs without compromising functionality, quality, or safety. The complete portfolio and application list can be found in the filter catalogue (Y345147).

The pictures above show the obvious differences between a Knorr-Bremse filter and that of a competitor with substantially inferior pleat stability. The pleat geometry has a major impact on the performance of the filter: the more exactly spaced the individual pleats, the better the performance and longer the service life of the filter.

Quality comparable to OE products – according to benchmark testing by external laboratories and assessment by external filter experts.

The best material for the best performance

Knorr-Bremse only uses high quality filter media to deliver optimal filtering results:

  • Using the latest filter materials, e.g. melt blown media to deliver excellent filter performance, optimal air permeability, and efficient contamination separation
  • A special impregnation provides high water resistance, thus ensuring that the filter material remains stable and does not tear even under damp conditions
  • Special paper embossing techniques ensure the stability of the pleats and filter
  • Uniform pleat structure for optimal filter efficiency
  • Excellent chemical resistance
