The pictures above show the obvious differences between a Knorr-Bremse filter and that of a competitor with substantially inferior pleat stability. The pleat geometry has a major impact on the performance of the filter: the more exactly spaced the individual pleats, the better the performance and longer the service life of the filter.

Quality comparable to OE products – according to benchmark testing by external laboratories and assessment by external filter experts.

The best material for the best performance

Knorr-Bremse only uses high quality filter media to deliver optimal filtering results:

  • Using the latest filter materials, e.g. melt blown media to deliver excellent filter performance, optimal air permeability, and efficient contamination separation
  • A special impregnation provides high water resistance, thus ensuring that the filter material remains stable and does not tear even under damp conditions
  • Special paper embossing techniques ensure the stability of the pleats and filter
  • Uniform pleat structure for optimal filter efficiency
  • Excellent chemical resistance
