The HGV Wheel Stud Service Kit from Laser Tools is completely portable and provides fast and effective removal and installation of even the most seized wheel studs.
Designed for use on inboard hubs on HGV trucks and buses with either disc or drum brakes.
Removal of the hub is not required — and this removes the risk of damage to hubs, seals, wheel bearings, and wheel studs. Increased safety from correct and accurate installations. The force screw fits into an adaptor which in turn fits into the rigid steel press frame. Thus if the force screw and the threaded adaptor become damaged or worn, they can be replaced separately, rather than the whole steel press frame. Also supplied with alloy sleeves to protect the thread when installing new studs.
