Laser Tools unveils new air saw

Designed to tackle a variety of cutting tasks, the new reciprocating air saw from Laser Tools comes equipped with a built-in two-speed design that optimises blade life and cutting speed.

Engineered with a focus on user safety and efficiency, it features a safety lock-off throttle lever to prevent accidental start-ups, and an adjustable rear exhaust that keeps the work area clear by directing exhaust air away from the user and the task at hand.

Gear-driven and featuring a patented reciprocating crank mechanism, this tool is designed for consistent cutting applications and significantly reduced blade stalling.

The 0.5hp motor delivers 5,000 strokes per minute, and is compatible with both standard air-saw and 150mm reciprocating saw blades. The package includes 18tpi and 24tpi blades, with 32tpi options available. Ease of connection is assured with a 1/4in air inlet thread and a 3/8in minimum hose requirement. The tool is relatively quiet, with sound pressure at 80dB and sound power at 91dB.
