TotalKare details its installation of two vehicle lifts for a facilities management specialist in Norfolk.
Facilities management specialist Norse Commercial Services is set to benefit from increased availability of its minibus and service van fleet following the installation of two vehicle lifts from the UK’s premier supplier of heavy-duty workshop solutions. The company, who’s support service operations include planned and reactive building maintenance, cleaning, security, and waste management, selected TotalKare to install two fixed two post lifts at its Norwich vehicle workshop.
Ideal for long wheelbase vehicles
TotalKare’s two post lift is ideal for companies with a large fleet of vans that require regular maintenance and repair work. It can lift up to 5,500kg, making it suitable for vans, minibuses, and pickup trucks, and its telescopic arms allow it to be easily adjusted to fit a variety of vehicles – even long wheelbase vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or Volkswagen Crafter.
The simple drive-in action allows for quick set up too, facilitating swift vehicle inspection. The two post lift installations complement the existing two sets of TotalKare mobile column lifts already at Norse Commercial Services’ Norwich workshop, and will be supported by a TotalKare ‘AfterKare’ service package, including two service visits per year and Reports of Thorough Examination.
Short lead time
“The two post lift’s lifting capacity covers the full range of vehicles in our fleet,” comments Terry Carson, Workshop Manager at Norse Commercial Services. “I was particularly pleased with the short lead time from placing the order to installation and the quality of the installation itself.”
Adam Bowser, Area Sales Manager for TotalKare, explains: “Having the two post lift on our stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show was ideal for Norse Commercial Services, who had enquired with us prior to the event. This, coupled with the cost-effective solution we were able to offer, were key factors in their selection of TotalKare.”
