Motus Commercials Manchester has handed over four DAF XF tractor units to JSP Hauliers, to coincide with the company’s 10th Anniversary.
JSP Hauliers are a family-owned business based in the centre of Manchester delivering around the UK. The four DAF XF 480 FTG 6×2 Super Space Cabs join a majority-DAF fleet.
Steve Singh, Director at JSP Hauliers, explained: “The business was founded by my father, Jarnial Singh 10 years ago. Since then, my brother Daniel Singh and I manage our fleet of 22 trucks. We purchased the four trucks to celebrate our tenth anniversary.
“Motus Commercials is our local DAF dealer, and over the years we have built a strong relationship, utilising their high-quality aftersales service to maintain our vehicles.”
The new vehicles are designed to benefit both operator and driver, providing the most comfortable and economical experience. The trucks come complete with; microwave, front spoiler, colour coded mirrors and grill, driver luxury air seat, Xtra comfort mattress, climate control and air conditioning, truck nav and phone, forward collision warning, adaptive and predictive cruise control.
All the vehicles are also equipped with the latest DAF Factory Direct Vision Package as required by the Direct Vision Standard in Greater London. Fitted with; blind spot and rear-view camera, four ultra-sonic sensors, left turn audible warning and speaker, LED signalling in the vehicle for the blind spot and rear view to ensure additional safety for all road users.
Steve continued: “Our drivers really like the DAF product – they’re comfortable, very spacious and with all the latest in-cab technology. They’re definitely a truckers’ truck and a favourite for our trampers. We understand the importance of keeping drivers comfortable whilst out on the road, which is why we always like to add a bit more to our trucks to make them stand out.”
