DVSA Chief Executive Gareth Llewellyn has announced the appointment of Becky Thomas as the new Director of Strategy and Policy.
Becky will have responsibility for shaping the strategic direction of DVSA and transforming the services DVSA provides to help improve road safety.
The services include:
- 2 million theory tests per year
- 1.7 million practical driving tests for cars, motorcycles, large goods vehicles
- 34 million MoTs for cars per year
- 750,000 vehicle testing for HGVs and PSVs
- Enforcement of all legislation for which DVSA is accountable
