Brake launches virtual exhibition

Brake has launched a Virtual Fleet Exhibition to celebrate fleet safety and share best practice throughout August, which is National Road Victim Month across the UK.

The exhibition is part of Brake’s Global Fleet Champions initiative, and showcases projects, products and services that aim to improve road safety and help reduce collisions involving at-work drivers. It offers a digital solution to cancelled events, and a chance to raise awareness for fleet safety during this important month.

Vehicle crashes reportedly account for a significant proportion of workplace deaths and injuries every year. Through the Global Fleet Champions initiative, Brake is committed to reducing these figures and helping to improve the safety of those driving for work. The exhibition will be live until 31 August and is free to access for any fleet operator or supplier interested in road safety.

New exhibitors will be joining each week. For last-minute opportunities to take part contact corporate@brake.org.uk.

Scott Williams, Head of Programme Delivery at Brake, commented: “Work vehicles and at-work drivers are involved in a high number of crashes every year, but there are measures that organisations can put in place to mitigate risks and reduce incidents. This virtual exhibition is a great way to raise awareness and showcase products, services and projects that can help fleet operators to manage road risk, and to network with other relevant organisations. We encourage fleet operators of any size to join in.”
