ZF Aftermarket Removes Sachs Surcharge

ZF Aftermarket has announced that with immediate effect customers of its Sachs branded heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) clutches will no longer face a surcharge on product.

Distributors, who continue to order product from the UK, will reap an immediate and tangible benefit; instead of having cash tied up in the surcharge system, they will see improved cash-flow, says the company.

This news follows a decision to consolidate its new and remanufactured product ranges into a single programme across Europe. In addition, for improved efficiency and to simplify core handling processes, customers can now return all core to one central European hub.

“As experts in the field of remanufacturing, we invest the same level of engineering methodology and testing expertise in the production of our remanufactured product, as we do in the production of new components,” explains Martyn Houghton, ZF Aftermarket’s UK General Sales Manager, Automotive.

“As a first step in this changeover process, we have taken a business decision to remove the surcharge on all returned core, with immediate effect.”
