NightSearcher has just launched the Kanga Star range – three high-powered work lights designed to operate from power tool batteries, accepting 14V/18V batteries from some of the leading power tool brands.
The Kanga Star range is available in three configurations: the 2.2K at 2,200 lumens, with high/ medium/ low power settings, a 25-metre beam, and strong magnetic base; the 5K delivering 5,000 lumens and the 10K 10,000 lumens model. The lights feature a three-in-one power supply system: accepting 14V/ 18V power tool batteries or powered by an optional 6000mAh Lithium-ion battery or directly from the mains by an optional AC adaptor.
The units feature built-in hanging hooks in the base and the option for mounting on tripods. Constructed from high-grade aluminium with rubberised edging and a tempered glass lens, each model is rated to IP65 for dust and water ingress and is backed by a three-year extendable warranty.
