SATA introduces BoltBiter extraction tools

SATA has Introduced two new sets of BoltBiter extraction tools that aim to make the removal of rusted, rounded or strip fasteners.

The 23- and 13-piece sets include a 3/8 drive ratchet with quick release design for rapid socket removal. The flush mounted reversing lever allows users to change direction one-handedly without removing the wrench. Both sets come with a durable blow mould case for storage and organization.

Benefits of BoltBiter are said to include tapered flutes for easy seating onto a damaged fastener and ensuring removed items don’t jam in the socket, dual sized sockets which work with both SAE and metric items and high-visibility laser-etched markings for quick size identification. BoltBiter’s bi-directionality also means that it not only removes but also easily tightens any fastener, even severely damaged ones. To fit a wide range of (damaged) fasteners, the sets also included minus-sized sockets. Finally, being made from chrome molybdenum alloy steel and a corrosion-resistant oxide finish extend the lifespan of the tools which come with a lifetime warranty.
