Trakm8 has announced it will be hosting a webinar in conjunction with the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) and Altrad Services.
The webinar will discuss how technology can engage drivers, increase efficiency and improve safety.
Going live on Thursday 21st January 2021, the webinar will highlight how the latest technology can be used to not only enhance the efficiency of fleets, but also to improve driver behaviour and pinpoint driver training needs.
Chris Woods, Head of Enterprise Sales at Trakm8, Peter Eldridge, Director at the AFP and Matthew Hammond, Head of Fleet at Altrad Services, will deliver the one-hour event.
The webinar will feature a keynote presentation from Peter, where he will be discussing the broader requirements of risk management and the need for fleet operators to embrace it.
In addition, Matthew will explain how the utilisation of Trakm8 technology has enabled him to implement a culture of driver excellence across Altrad’s fleet of 1,400 vehicles, significantly improving driver behaviour, as well as reducing incident rates and vehicle maintenance costs.
Chris will also be on hand to discuss Trakm8’s technology and the benefits this brings to fleets all over the UK, including multi-camera systems, driver feedback devices and route optimisation software to name but a few.
Matthew said: “Altrad Services is delighted to continue our partnership with Trakm8 in delivering improved driver and safety standards across our fleet through the use of focused data and relevant technology, as well as working with the wider industry to deliver greater levels of road safety.
“The webinar, together with the AFP, will highlight the benefits of a connected fleet, from driver improvement to fleet management tools, allowing targeted campaigns to improve safety across fleets, along with reducing operating costs for businesses.”
Peter added: “We are delighted to play an active part in supporting the fleet safety culture webinar. Engaging drivers to improve safety and increase efficiency is a key topic on the AFP agenda and we look forward to what will inevitably be an enjoyable and informative event.”
