CVW takes a look at the latest tools from Sealey that are designed to cope with the heavy-duty demands of commercial vehicles.
1. Dual Wheel Separator
The CV500 Dual Wheel Separator has been designed to remove stubborn steel wheels on commercial vehicles. It is applicable for both twin and single wheel set-up, and is suitable for use with air/electric impact guns. Supplied in a handy storage case, the four pieces have a blackened finish for added corrosion resistance.
2. Front Control Arm Bush Removal /Installation Tool – Ford Transit
The VS4788 Front Control Arm Bush Removal and Installation Tool is specifically crafted to allow the safe, controlled removal and replacement of worn bushes fitted to Ford Transits manufactured between 2000 and 2014. It is used in conjunction with a floor or bench press, and is supplied with full instructions.
3. Crankshaft Rotator for Mercedes-Benz 1/2″Sq Drive
Designed for use on Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, the CV038 Crankshaft Rotator allows the technician to rotate the crankshaft, via the flywheel ring gear, using a 1/2” square drive ratchet wrench or breaker bar. It is equivalent to OEM Mercedes; OM457, OM541, OM542, OM902, OM904, OM906, OM924, OM926, MAN; D25, D28.
4. Premier Pressure Industrial Foam Sprayer
Sealey’s SCSG08 Premier Pressure Industrial Foam Sprayer is manufactured from a robust, composite construction with ergonomic pump and handle for the generation of dry and long lasting foam. Its pump is made from highly resistant materials and incorporates a safety valve with a depressurisation option. There is a large 60mm opening for easy refilling and reduced spillage, and the translucent tank has handy level indicators. The foam sprayer is supplied with three mixers, which vary the ratio of air to cleaning fluid in foam generation.
5. Crankshaft Rotator for Volvo 1/2″Sq Drive
The Sealey CV039 Crankshaft Rotator is designed for use on Volvo commercial vehicles. The tool allows the user to rotate the crankshaft, via the flywheel ring gear, using a 1/2” square drive ratchet wrench or breaker bar. It is equivalent to OEM Volvo; D9A, D118, D12, D16C, Renault; DXi11 and DXi12.
