WNV Systems launches truck wash system

WNV Systems has unveiled new truck and container-based options for its internal trailer wash.

Darren Bright, WNV’s sales director said: “An ITW equipped vehicle could drive alongside a row of parked trailers and sanitise the insides of all of them. Or a container based unit could be taken to a depot to sanitise trailer interiors during a high turn around food transport period such as the lead-up to Christmas.”

“We’ve been asked what advantages an automated system has over handheld pressure washers, and there are three big differences. The first is that when cleaning is left up to staff, they can be reluctant to go into trailers and clean them to a high standard between loads. Next, the ITW means confined space working risk s are reduced, and slip risks too, when there’s a need for degreasing or antibacterial agents, which can easily be added to our ITW. Last is that it can offer reassurance to high-traffic logistic operators that a consistent level of cleansing is carried out at regular intervals.”
