A fixture on any manager’s or technician’s calendar, CVW has a look at what’s in store so far for Euro Bus Expo 2022.
Euro Bus Expo is back at the NEC Birmingham November 1-3, bringing the sector together for its first major gathering in over three years. The event returns with, according to the organisers, a renewed vigour and a focus on innovation, decarbonisation, and the future of passenger transport. With features showcasing new product and service developments, this year’s event is a great opportunity to network and discover the industry’s newest insights, technologies, products, and services.
Workshop equipment
Exhibitors representing every link of the supply chain will showcase the best the industry has to offer. As well as must-see vehicles, the latest technology, workshop equipment, compliance and safety equipment will be on display.
Butts of Bawtry, Tecalemit Garage Equipment, Totalkare and V L Test Systems Ltd are currently just a few of the workshop equipment providers lined up to tell visitors about their products and services.
Steve Braund, Marketing Manager at Totalkare, says the show has been an “integral part” of the firm’s marketing strategy. “Euro Bus Expo is unrivalled in bringing together bus and coach operators and their supply chain to celebrate everything that’s great about the passenger transport industry,” he adds.
And that’s not all. A Masterclass Theatre will host a range of expert speakers who will share the latest need-to-know information and perspectives from across the sector. The Zero Emission Zone will make its show debut, highlighting the newest vehicles designed to decarbonise passenger travel. Alexander Dennis, Equipmake, London Hire and Volvo Group will all demonstrate vehicles in the zone. Visitors can also experience one of the Yutong battery-electric models from Pelican Bus and Coach, and the latest range from Switch Mobility.
What’s more, Euro Bus Expo 2022 will see the introduction of the Innovation Challenge. Visitors will vote for their favourite new initiatives, with exhibitors pitching their products and services to a panel of industry judges. You can expect to see a wide range of suppliers exhibiting the most recent technologies designed to increase fleet efficiency, too.
