Giti Tire launches fleet management programme

Giti Tire has launched its Mercury fleet management programme, a total fleet solution that offers online real-time reporting across all core operational areas.

The software, which was soft-launched with several UK-based fleet customers last year, will be offered as a value-added service to truck and bus customers contracted to the brand.

A cloud-based system, it allows all work carried out by Giti Service Partners at operators’ depots and roadside to be visible to the fleets 24/7 including job sheets, service items, casing control and costs. This is supported by immediate invoicing features and help desk support.

Mercury works in conjunction with Giti Fleet, the tyre manufacturer’s end-to-end tyre service designed to optimise operation costs and enhance overall business competitiveness. This includes products, maintenance, quality monitoring, retreading, technical support and 24-hour roadside assistance.

To ensure Giti Service Partners and fleets have mobile access to clear, up-to-the-minute information, the newly launched Giti Fleet Check App (G-App) offers vehicle fleet check management controls and reporting at various levels. The company will also introduce its Retorque App (RT-App) which allows transport and fleet managers to view live updates to ensure retorque policy is being followed. With Giti’s portfolio of truck and bus tyres, including the new Giti GSR236 Combi Road and GSR237 Combi Road steer tyres, a proven retread programme through Genesis and a total fleet management solution, the company claims to have all bases covered.
