Haydock Commercial Vehicles, the Scania dealer for the Preston-Liverpool-Warrington triangle, Chester and north Wales, has invested £2.7m in a purpose-built service centre on land adjacent to its existing Walton Summit, Preston site.
Operations at the new premises began on Monday 9 November 2020, at which point the old workshop will be demolished to further extend the site’s secure truck, trailer, bus and coach parking area.
When complete, the new site will occupy 2.5 acres of land adjacent to Junction 29 of the M6 and within a mile of the intersection of the M61 and M65 motorways.
