Prime Design Europe has introduced the ErgoBACK, an electric version of its rear deployment ladder designed to reduce the number of injuries due to ladder transportation.
Specially designed with workers in mind and said to be developed side-by-side with fleet managers, ErgoBACK ladder roof rack allows users to safely load, unload and secure ladders from the back of all LCVs. ErgoBack is driven by a 24V motor with gearbox. Power can be supplied by the vehicle or by a dedicated 24V battery, charged via the 12V or 24V power socket, providing a separation from the vehicles main power system. Users can now secure, lift and bring down ladders of any size, weight and shape – including telescopic individual work platforms (PIR/ PIRL) – and with negligible physical impact for the operator.
