PURItech establishes position in CV marketplace

PURItech has announced its reintroduction to the UK commercial vehicle marketplace, providing emission reduction systems for buses, coaches and other heavy-duty vehicles.

The company is known for the retrofitting of emission reduction systems to ensure compliance for those in the commercial vehicle marketplace with the latest Euro VI standards, to offer operators a solution rather than replacing the vehicle fleet.

PURItech’s PURINOX solution – designed, manufactured and fitted in accordance with international ISO and TS quality standards – is an SCRT system, which achieves cleanliness by reducing dangerous emissions, such as NOx and CO, by more than 95%.

PURINOX’s modular design enables maintenance of the diesel particulate filter and also provides the possibility to replace the SCR. It aims to complement vehicles operating within UK Clean Air Zones, Low Emission Zones and Ultra Low Emissions Zones to avoid daily charges.

With a fitment and aftersales support network being established in the UK, along with a UK operation for servicing and repairs in Nottingham, PURItech is also looking to redefine the retrofit process to meet the standards of project support customer’s demand, working closely with bus operators to discuss their exact requirements before arriving at the correct solution for their fleet of either one vehicle or multiple vehicles.

Neil Koston, PURItech’s UK Sales Director, said: “The response to the launch has been overwhelming and we’ve had some really positive discussions with many businesses looking to find the most economical retrofit upgrade solution for fleets of all sizes. With the backing behind the UK operation, we’ve made a firm commitment to continuously expand our SCRT portfolio and improve aftersales service to limit vehicle-off-road time to keep the United Kingdom moving, working closely with our customer base to ensure the most effective developments.”
